The start of my new WIP began while I was picking apart my old one--the old "2 separate stories in one WIP" discovery. Picked up momentum when I did a writing group exercise (Write about 2 high school sweethearts who meet for drinks after 15 years apart.) As of late, I have found a few extra characters and story idea's rolling about in my head. along with my original WIP. They are big, multi-chapter novel length kinda ideas. How many are too many WIP's under my steps?

Have you every understood something, but not really “understand” it? I understood the importance of the elements of writing in my novel. I understood plot and character interaction and etc........
